Cordless vacuums are lightweight units that are primarily used for small jobs around the house when major cleaning is not necessary. Models have been made for both manual and vertical mounting.

These units were first developed for use in a home, but have since been expanded. Today's owners of boats, RVs, and cars make use of wireless and lightweight features to clean areas that would otherwise have limited movement with corded vacuum units.

Soon, cordless vacuums will have a power supply that will last longer, thus expanding their use.
